Registration is now open for the 15th Annual OCCTA Tennis Seminar for professional coaches, assistant coaches, high school coaches, tennis leaders and parents from 8am to 5pm on Sunday, June 28, at the Great Park Tennis Center of Irvine, California. This is one of the most well-attended educational events in California and it offers educational credit for the RSPA, USTA and PTR members. The deadline to register is Friday, June 26th. Don’t wait because this is a fun, educational and networking day of tennis.
The seminar fee is $75 per person, and it includes lunch and one (1) raffle ticket. (For a vegetarian meal, please contact Steve Riggs in advance.) Additional raffle tickets are available for purchase at the event. There will be an incredible selection of prizes but you need to stay until the end, which is recommended because of the great information, networking opportunities and inspiring presentations.
For group discount rates, please email riggstwins@outlook.com, call 949-232-9200, or PayPal at https://paypal.me/Riggs642?locale.x=en_US. Another option is to Venmo Steve Riggs @Steve-Riggs-11. The first 225 attendees will receive a welcome gift of goodies that include a great tote bag, lifeguard hat, shirt, Solinco String and a Dunlop key ring to name a few. (*Subject to change.)
This seminar honors legendary tennis Coach Dave Borrelli, who was the USC Women’s Tennis Coach for 14 years. During his tenure, he led the Trojans to seven NCAA national titles, and he was inducted into the 2010 ITA Women’s Collegiate Hall of Fame. Coach Dave was also the 1981 NCAA National Collegiate Coach of the Year. He passed away in 2023 and is greatly missed by the tennis community. Each year, the OCCTA recognizes coaches in the community for their leadership. This year, the new award recipients will be announced at the event.

OCCTA Tennis Seminar Director Steve Riggs has created a fantastic line up of speakers including Alan Iverson, Amanda Fink Moore, Dave Hagler, Greg Prudhomme, Issac McBroom, Jack Busby, Johnny Lee, Karen Ronney, Ken DeHart, Randy Houston, Matt Previdi and Matt Simons. (*Speakers subject to change.)
The master of ceremonies will be Matt Previdi, an iconic entertainer, singer and respected tennis pro at Balboa Tennis Club. Previdi brings joy and laughter to the event as well as great educational tips.
If you have any questions or need help, please email Steve Riggs at riggstwins@outlook.com, or call 949-232-9200. We look forward to seeing you there.
